This is one of my favorite chinese places of all time! I highly recommend the peking beef, but everything we've had is wonderful! My family has eaten here a few times a month for 20+ years. You won't be disappointed!

Delicious, fresh food and cozy atmosphere. The waiter was very sweet and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Normally when you go eat at a place that's a little hole-in-the-wall you have a very good experience. This was not the case! It was a very hot day. We walked in and it was extremely warm inside the restaurant,no air conditioning! They sent us upstairs, said it would be cooler and it was blazing hot! There were ceiling fans, ( not on) blinds were filthy, dead flies laying all over, tables weren't wiped down, the food was not good! The waiter had a good disposition and somewhat of a good attitude. He didn't know much about the menu. A huge disappointment and not worth the money.

Great food and service

Only place I've found in Idaho that serves real Chinese food. The sweet and sour sauce isn't bright orange and doesn't turn into jello when cold. Been enjoying their food for four years now. If you want fast-food style Chinese, go down the street to bejing, for fresh good Chinese, Emmet Chinese cafe is the real deal.

Food is ok here. Nothing special. Main problem is that they don’t accept debit or credit cards. Only cash. Seriously, who doesn’t take cards these days!?

Always Great Food!

We really like it. Yeah it's a little run down, but it's cheap and relaxed. A simple Chinese restaurant.

Fresh vegetables in the cashew chicken. Still slightly crunchy.

I was craving Chinese food and thought this place looked great. When I got to the door, though, I was told my money and I weren't welcome by the sign that says "no credit or debit cards".

Not worth it. Dirty interior. Food was bland and cold. And the waitress messed up the order.

Was my first time going tonight and I loved it. Food was great and it came super fast. The waitress was both professional and personable. Was a very unique place, I loved that and though they has a steady flow of people ot was quiet and comfortable. If you like spicy, the guy makes a hot chili sauce type thing that is awesome. It is yumm but not so much flavor that it took over the food and it packed some heat. Yumm!!! Will be going back for sure.

The food is great as I recall it's cash only could be a little cleaner but they are improving we will go back they have an upstairs but in the summertime if the air conditioning isn't on you won't want to go upstairs

Warm, cozy chinese food resturant served by a welcoming family. Food was excellent and good quality, would recommend!

Decent place to get a bite to eat. Only issues I've had here is having the rice almost always a little dry or under cooked, and rarely being able to catch it open, even during the hours it has posted.

Small, seemingly authentic but ultimately pedestrian Chinese food. A disappointment, alas.

Ate here a few years ago several times. After the third chance the "food" and I use that term loosely was not fit to eat. In fact I only took about 3 bites of mine and went down stairs to complain expecting some sort of compensation and got none. It amazes me the folks here complain about raw shrimp, dry undercooked rice, small portions, hot room and dead flies and then give this dirty place 4 stars!? They don't take credit or debit I'll bet u to cheat on taxes. When I drive by that place I wonder and am amazed how they have any business at all and still open. I love Asian food just wish i didn't have to go over the hill to get it.

The best and the most authentic Mapo Tofu I had in Idaho!

Food does taste good.Some things to improve would be that the portion sizes seemed stingy/smaller on our last takeout than what we've gotten in the past.Also no credit cards accepted? And finally the older Asian lady taking your order over the phone is sometimes hard to communicate with. Maybe have someone else handle the phones?
